Selection Criteria:
The Selection Committee will be reviewing candidates based on capacity for teamwork, strategy, and fair play alongside individual skill.
Note on Team Selection:
While the primary focus of this tournament is to select teams for the National Championships, the selection committee will also be looking for individuals interested in committing to three different tournaments over the course of 2018:
- The National Championship in March
- The National Dodgeball Festival in Barrie, ON, in May
- The Western Championships, location TBD in August
During the invitation process, individuals may be asked if they are interested in committing to a team for all three of these events. If enough individuals accept this invitation, Dodgeball BC will consider sending this long-term team in addition to the National Championship team. One team that is committed only to attending National Championships in March, and will then disband. A second team will attend National Championships and then continue to train together, with the intention of continuing on to these other events.
Registration Deadline:
You must register for the tryout tournament by Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 11:49 PM.

Dodgeball BC will accept unedited video submissions for players who cannot attend the tournament. Video submissions are due on Tuesday, November 6, 2017, by 5:00 PM. Please note: You cannot attend tryouts as well as submit a video.
