Dodgeball BC is currently creating several committees that have openings for members at large to join. Alongside your fellow members and under the direction of the committee chair, you will work on a diverse range of dodgeball related projects - the specific work depends on the committee! This committee covers social media, newsletters, and our web presence. It is automatically chaired by the director of communications which is Stephanie Field. Any member of Dodgeball BC can be a member of the committee.
This committee is automatically chaired by the director of events, Kristina Jacklin. It is responsible for the planning and coordination of events and has the authority to spend society funds up to an agreed upon dollar amount for each event. The board can decide on budgets to allocate toward each event.
This is chaired by any current member for a term of up to one year. The committee is responsible for determining Board fundraising expectations and goals; tracking progress and holding the Board accountable toward fundraising strategies, expectations, and goals.
This will also include analyzing relationships with current and prospective major donors, funders, and corporate sponsors and develop individualized strategies to cultivate or strengthen those relationships.
This is chaired by any current member for a term of up to one year. The committee is responsible for the drafting of all policy for the society. An immediate project would be to create a code of ethics.
